Bio

I am in my ninth year of teaching, eight years with the NeCDSB, and am currently the Education Technology Special Assignment Teacher for my board. I have taught Grades 3 - 7, as well as a first year post-secondary Police Foundations course (Criminology) at Northern College in Porcupine, Ontario. I am a graduate student at UBC in the MET (Master of Educational Technology) program, and also a Recruitment and Marketing Officer at the digital Human Library (http://digitalhumanlibrary.com/) founded by Leigh Cassell of AMDSB. My contribution, among others, is developing an Arts platform in order to help teachers bring artists into their classrooms via web conferencing. I'm also a member of an Educational Technology committee in my Board, and am in the process of taking the Google Certified Educator exams.
