In this course we will introduce you to different diseases that affect animal production in agriculture. You will learn about the necessary components needed for disease to occur and how our knowledge of this can help us to better manage disease in our production systems. You will understand and be able to discuss best management practices in terms of disease control and investigate in depth two diseases, what causes them and what management strategies we can employ to prevent or minimise the occurrence of them.
