The field of risk management has attracted increased mainstream attention in the wake of the economic meltdown as the public has begun to comprehend the negative effects of uncontained risk. Unfortunately, many risk management professionals tend to underestimate the role of fraud in the scope of their professional duties.
With organizations losing an estimated 5 percent of their annual revenues to fraud, the need for a strong anti-fraud stance and proactive, comprehensive approach to combating fraud is clear. As organizations increase their focus on risk, they should take the opportunity to consider, enact and improve measures to detect, deter and prevent fraud.

Grading Requirements: There is one assessment quiz at the end of each Module. Please note that learners must get 7/10 questions correct in order to get Pass the weekly lesson. Students can take the lesson quizzes 3 times each.
Course Expectations: Student are expected to read all the material posted, participate on online discussions, and successfully take every assessment at the end of each lesson.
This is a self-paced course, and therefore students have the opportunity and responsibility to work independently to complete all the lessons of this course. This course is set up as a 5-Modules. Students are expected to complete every lesson and read all the provided material in order to successfully complete the class.
At the end of each lesson, there is a quiz. Students need to answer 7/10 questions correct in order to pass each quiz. Please note that all quizzes must be successfully achieved in order for a student to get credit for the course.
Duration: This is an online course. Students have a total of 7 weeks to complete the 5-week course.
