Overview

The Team Lead position is an exciting role which places the WLPCSS volunteer in a leadership role.   The Team Lead (TL) will always have a Staff Supporter who is on call to them if the need arises.

This role will accommodate the vacation, sick days and required time off of the Warm Line and Peer Crisis Support Service Coordinator role in 24 hour coverage.

The Warm Line and Peer Crisis Support Services is a 24hour 365/day/year telephone support service that offers both support and crisis intervention by utilizing a recovery oriented peer support delivery model.   

The Warm Line and Peer Crisis Support Service Volunteers have gone through a process of recovery or is a direct family member and has obtained peer support related training to assist others with mental health challenges to identify and achieve life goals as part of their own recovery.

The Warm Line and Peer Crisis Support Service volunteers utilizes strengths-based and recovery-oriented approaches with individuals and groups to help combat stigma, promote self-determination, and instill hope.
