This courses focuses on reviewing universal precaution recommendations to improve the practice of healthcare workers in any healthcare setting. In this course, students will review and update their knowledge about the importance of using universal precautions in the healthcare environment. The student will explore occupational health risks and the evidence-based guidelines that are in place to protect employees and patients from transmission-based diseases. Students will demonstrate competency through completing quizzes throughout the course. At the end of the course, a certificate of completion will be provided to demonstrate success.
An 80% must be achieved on the final quiz to successfully complete the course. A course completion certificate will be available at the end of the course. Students will have unlimited attempts to pass the quiz.
