Course reviews will be shown here

Stroke is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, yet stroke knowledge among the general public and stroke survivors remains low. Despite public health campaigns, one of the major barriers to effective stroke care is the lack of recognition among laypersons that stroke is a medical emergency. Treatment delays result in loss of brain function and poor outcomes. Therefore, the following E-learning will focus on prevention and early recognition of stroke.

At the end of this E-learning, participants will:

  • Identify two common risk factors for stroke
  • Identify early warning signs of stroke using the FAST model
  • Identify two measures to help prevent stroke
