Students will learn skills and strategies to help them know how to engage in argumentation, with pure logic.

The first semester will be focused on 28 informal fallacies, common errors, which appear in arguments.  We will look at examples drawn from current events, popular culture, advertising, politics and history.

The second semester students will learn how to build strong arguments, by analyzing famous speeches, evaluating arguments, having class discussions, and partaking in practice debates.
