Welcome to the 2016 Ryerson Rams Women's Basketball Team Development Program (TDP)!!

We're excited to work with you this summer to grow as leaders and teammates!!!

Course Description

The purpose of this course is to explore a series of effective High Performance Team best practices to create a supportive and effective team for the 2016-17 Ryerson Rams Women's Basketball Team.  Upon completing the course you will have greater awareness and understanding of tools and approaches used by effective teammates to drive personal and team success.

Course Rationale

We want the team to connect through the lens of "Courage".  We always challenge each player to be better today than they were yesterday.  This intention demands courage.  In order for you to have success leaning into your courage it's important that we share concrete best practices that are appropriate to your environment and situation as players on the Ryerson Rams 2016-17 Womens Basketball Team for you to learn and apply your courage.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, you should be able to:

  • communicate what term "courage" means for Ryerson WBB
  • understand the impact of courage individual and team development
  • practice giving teammates feedback
  • identify and address team issues
  • practice accountability
  • practice mindfulness to execute your courage intentions
  • practice connection
  • develop a courage habit

You will learn Global Leadership skills in the program.  They will support your teams performance this season, but can and should be used outside the WBB team environment to drive career success:
