Tatiana Romanova

D.V.M., PhD

In 1994 she graduated with D.V.M. from Krasnoyarsk State Agricultural University (Russia) where her main objects of study were general morphology, pathology and small animals (pet’s) medicine. In 1998 she earned PhD in Biology. For several years she held position of associate professor at Veterinary Medicine Department of her university where has been taught students for anatomy, histology and medical chemistry. During following research experience Dr. Romanova had obtained skills in experimental physiology and computing (bio-)chemistry. After one year at Iowa State University (Iowa, USA) as a visiting scientist I came to Japan for two years contract at Mitsubishi Chemical Research Center (Yokohama, Japan) for study of quantum chemical properties of biomolecules in glycobiology and drug discovery areas.
