Overview

How does it work?
Kinesiology tape (KT) is supposed to act on five major physiological compartments of the body: skin, fascia (connective tissue), muscles, joints and the lymphatic system.
The technique used to apply the tape depends on what therapeutic effect you want to achieve.
It can compress an area if applied at more than 50% tension, or decompress to lift the skin if applied less tightly. It can be used to activate muscles that need to work harder, or inhibit muscles that need to back off.

Unlike standard strapping, this elasticated cotton tape is designed to mimic the skin, allowing normal movement.
Proponents claim that it can prevent injury, re-educate the neuromuscular system and reduce pain — with 1,200 conditions identified as suitable for treatment by KT.
The theory is that, as the tape is stretched over the skin, it creates convolutions (skin wrinkles), which allow the lymphatic system to work more efficiently — reducing inflammation and clearing waste.

Over 35 years of use ,testing, and research the KT method has now been extended to the Equine Industry. Equine Kinesiology Taping was designed for the unique anatomy of horses. Horses skin naturally has more hair than human skin, so rock tape is the best tape to use so the taping will stay in place longer.
How the tape works is it adheres tot he hair and will lift the hair and also the deep tissue layers creating more space and allowing lymphatic fluids to flow more feely to aid in healing and reduce swelling.

Here you will learn different types of Taping from the head all the way to the tail.

1) how to Increase Circulation

2) Support Joints

3) Improve Muscle Memory

4) and much more
