Overview

This online course is designed to teach you what you need to know to start seeing patients at PCPA. It is very important that you complete this course carefully and in its entirety. If you don't become proficient in the skills reviewed and tested, you will have significant difficulties trying to do your work at the office and we may need to postpone your start date until you can demonstrate better proficiency.

The course is made up of a series of tasks and quizzes. Please make sure you complete it in order as some tasks rely on information covered in earlier sections.

Follow the outline below and then complete the corresponding exercises or quizzes under the TASKS tab.

1. Tasks: If the task does not ask you a question but simply asks you to do something, for the answer, please just indicate if you were able to complete the task or not and submit. If it does ask you a question as well, answer the question and submit.

2. Quiz: Please note that most of the questions have more than one correct answer. Please choose all answers that you think are correct. After you submit each question, you will receive feedback with the correct answer(s). It is important that you read the explanations, even if you got the question right. Some explanations contain additional training information.

Grading. Tasks are graded as 0 for not complete and 100 for complete. Your overall score will average out tasks and quizzes. We use this score to gage your understanding of policies and procedures, proficiency in the use of our systems and readiness to start seeing patients at the office or via Tele-Psych.

If you have any questions as you are completing this course, please email the office manager at officemanager@pcpasf.com

Thanks you and welcome to PCPA!
