Joan (Jo) Barnes holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, and Competent Toastmaster (CTM) designation. Jo’s experiences includes 20 years in the Information Technology arena, 15 years in a higher education environment, 6 years as Adjunct Professor instructing Project Management, Financial Applications, Business and Continuous Improvement processes.

Overview

In today’s business environment; where projects vary in size, scope, and timelines; employees capable of the ability to simultaneously manage and complete multiple projects possess an invaluable skill.  Handling multiple projects involves Time Management skills, empathic stakeholder requirements, and an innate understanding of personal productivity limitations and constraints.  This course defines Project Management as skill set and summarizes various strategies utilized in the management and completion of multiple projects.
