The course consists of four sections, each of which have their own tasks and dead-lines.

How to Study

It's very important that you do the assigned tasks by their deadlines! You will receive feedback from the teachers, and if you miss a deadline, there's a very real chance the teachers won't have time to give you feedback anymore - and feedback is one of the best ways to learn!

You should visit the course 2-3 times/week, depending a bit on what types of tasks there are. The dead-lines for the sections are spread out on a weekly basis so that you can divide your own workload into smaller bits. Check the dead-lines for each section once they open so that you can create a schedule for you - this is especially important in sections 2 and 3 where you are expected to work together in a group. In sections 2 an 3, you need to reserve time each week both for individual work and working together with your group, and to succeed in that, effective scheduling with your small group is key. Please notice that in the very first section you are expected to take part in discussions as soon as the section opens.

Each section also contains a Google Hangout meeting with your teacher. There will be a couple of dates/times to choose from in each section, so you can choose one that's suitable for you. On the very first day of the course (Monday 19.9 at 18:00 Finnish time / 17:00 Dutch time), there is also a Q&A video session with Marianna, one of the teachers, so if you have any questions or just want to say hi, feel free to pop in. You will get a separate email about the Q&A session.
