Overview

Welcome to the open access version of ETEC 565a, UBC MET program.

In this online seminar - "Learning Technologies: Selection, Design & Application"; - we use several platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS): Word Press platform - for publishing your assignments and reflections (your individual WP blogs); Blackboard Connect platform - for the password protected course discussions, group collaboration, assignment submissions and grades (only for registered UBC students).

During this course you will be designing several digital learning objects or your own course prototype modules. To design and run your projects you may choose using the UBC based LMSs - Moodle, Edge EdX, Word Press and Blackboard Connect, or a cloud based open source platform - Eliademy.

Start exploring the course content navigating through the five Units (the upper menu bar). See also the quick links to the course materials, calendar and additional resources (on the right side of this course pages). I gradually add new or replace links to resources on this list. I hope you find the course activities and resources useful while developing your courses or digital learning objects.
