Overview

 

Special Topics in Information Technology is a three-unit course that covers topics in Computer Network Security and Geospatial Information System (GIS). The Computer Network Security module includes fundamental networking principles, network security best practices and the design of secure computer networks. The GIS module is an overview of the different capabilities of the ArcGIS software and its application in military operations planning. At the completion of this course, the students are expected to apply the knowledge learned as combatants in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
