This course is designed for anyone who is interested in learning how to use HTML for website design. The course will focus on HTML 5 as this is the latest version of HTML. On completion of the course students will be confident in using HTML 5 to design and publish basic websites. The course is for 3 weeks but can be followed at your own pace.

Assessment criteria
- Each student must complete the 3 quizzes after each week to complete the course.
- Quiz scores will be given back at the end of the quiz and students will be allowed to complete each quiz a maximum of 3 times

Darren Trofimczuk is an ICT teacher with over 11yrs experience of teaching students in the class. Darren has taught at schools & colleges within London, UK and more recently at an International School in Finland. Darren is a firm believer in making technology courses relevant for all age groups and keeping courses fun & exciting and incorporating all the latest technologies that are available to utilize.

Lesson 2 (Part 1 & 2): Doctype declaration & HTML 5 tags (Title, head, body & Meta tags)

Lesson 3: Other Tags (headings and paragraph)
Lesson 4: List Tags (unordered & ordered, definition list)
Lesson 5: Hyperlinks (Anchor tag)
Lesson 6: Inserting Table & Table tag and CSS
Week 3
Lesson 7: Semantic HTML 5 (strong and b elements)
Lesson 8: Div tag
Lesson 9: Elements
Part A-(header, nav, article, footer and aside)
