Overview

Welcome to Interpreting in Specialized Settings.  In this course, you will learn and practice interpreting different scenarios. This will not be an in-depth, extensive specialization in one field of study, but rather, it will give you a bird's-eye view of that subject (i.e., mathematics, medical, legal, etc.), as well as give you some practice with interpreting those subjects.  Going through the material and doing the work will develop your skills!  This curriculum is designed as hands on, experiential and non-textbook based learning.

Highland Council for the Deaf is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that serves the Permian Basin and 30 surrounding counties.
