Associate Professor

Sherif E. Hussein received the BSc and MSc in Computer Engineering from Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt with honor and the PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK and has been awarded the ORS and the Strathclyde studentship during his PhD study. He is a computer technical consultant for the Egyptian ministry Cabinet and an Associate Professor in Computer and Systems Department, Mansoura University, Egypt. His research interests include Cloud Computing, Mobile applications, Big Data, Biomechanics, medical image and signal processing, biological modeling and artificial intelligence. Sherif is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers IEEE, the International Federation for Artificial Organs IFAO, the Institute of Engineering and Technology IET, and a Council member in the International Committee on Measurements and Instrumentation ICMI.
