M. Robert Sykora

M. Sykora is Professor Emeritus of French at Ash Tree University. He has a B.S. in Business Management from the UVF Advanced School (2000), and graduated from the M.D. program at the UVF Medical Center in 2006. He lived in Paris for seven years while completing a doctoral thesis on La Chanson de Roland, and in 2015 returned to the U.S. with several colleagues, to start Ash Tree University.

This course is designed to develop oral and written skills in French.  Attention will be given to speaking, listening, reading and writing.  You will learn to express your interests, wishes and necessities, to describe and to recount events.  We will use a variety of media, including video, film, poetry and music.
