Instructor Bio:  Hello class!!!! My name is Angela Williams, I will be your instructor for this course.Currently,  I teach kindergarten  for  the Savannah Chatham County Public School System. I have been teaching kindergarten for three years and love every minute of it. I have a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education and currently seeking a Masters degree in Adult Education. I have been happily married for 21 years to my high school sweetheart and best friend. I have two daughters. In my spear time I enjoy traveling with my family and friends, shopping, and reading. 

Course Overview

Effective Teaching Methods for Kindergarten Educators is a fully online class designed for public school kindergarten educators. This course will focus on the effective methods of teaching and how it correlates with producing academic success in the kindergarten classroom. Topics will include effective teaching strategies, research-based instructional strategies, DAP and classroom management techniques. There will be three modules in this course. Each module will have a list of activities for students to engage in. Modules will be listed on the left side of the screen. To access modules students will click on the appropriate module. Once in the module students are will click on the  tabs to access the activities within the module. Students will access discussion board from the above tab that is labeled discussion. Participation is requirement for this course.
