Overview

Take your ability to develop powerful applications for desktop and mobile devices to the next level. This course is designed to provide a broad overview of programming using Qt. In the first few classes, the basic concepts of Qt will be covered . As the class proceeds, we will dig deeper into some advanced topics. Qt 5.2, the latest version of Qt programming language will be used in the instructions.

Learning objectives and outcome

At the end of the course, participants will not just have a general understanding of Qt but also will be able to

  • Understand the key concepts of Qt
  • Write cross platform applications using Qt
  • Develop applications for mobile and desktop devices.

Course requirements and assessment criteria

  • Basic Knowledge of C++ programming is required to fully cope with the level of instruction.
  • Each student must complete 6 different set of quizzes, 6 coding tasks and 1 end project to obtain the certificate of completion.

Course duration and content

The course will span a total of 6 weeks with 12 different modules. Check the course syllabus below for details. Each module will require approximately 2 hours of video content, interaction with instructor and course participants and self study.
