Welcome to Managing Student Behavior!! In addition to the importance of managing classroom routines and procedures to maintain an optimal learning environment, it is also important for teachers to set expectations related to student behavior. These expectations should be created with student input, clearly posted, stated in the positive, and communicated with families. For these to be most effective, expectations need to be consistently administered, with teachers showing no bias toward a student(s).
