Color Theory I

This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of color theory, including the color wheel, complementary, analogous, and triad color groupings. We will learn how to shade with color and create moods with color schemes. Each lesson will explain each concept and follow it with a project that puts it into use.

You can find the eight lessons contained in this course under the TASKS tab. Start with Lesson One. After you have completed the work in that lesson, please take digital photos of all your work and upload it as an "answer" to the task. Once you have received your critique and grade for your work, you can proceed with the next lesson.

Before you begin any lessons, please go to the overview page to watch the Introduction video and see the supply list. Once you have your supplies together, it's time to get started. You have one year from the date of purchase of this course to finish it. This course is meant, however, to be completed in 8 weeks or less.

Happy Drawing!

Your Instructor,

Karine Bauch
