Who is this qualification for?
The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development (QCF) is a qualification designed to meet initial and continuing professional development needs as a learning and development practitioner.
There are no formal prerequisite qualifications that the learner must have prior to undertaking this qualification. The centre will have ensured that you have the required knowledge, understanding and skills to enrol and successfully achieve this qualification.
Why is this qualification most suitable?
The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development will enable the learner to work in a teaching role and progress on to a broader teaching qualification. This qualification is suitable for trainee teachers, those experienced in a teaching role and those working as assessors who wish to gain a teaching qualification.
What does this qualification cover?
This qualification has been specifically designed for the 19+ age groups, this qualification will develop knowledge, understanding and skills required to plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and development provision. What could this qualification lead to?
Learners can progress from the VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development (QCF) directly into employment as a teacher in the further education sector.
