Overview


Goals for the course:
By the time you have finished your engineering degree, you should be able to find, evaluate and refer to information and subject matter material. What you learn in this course can help you develop these skills.

The target group for this course is primarily students at the faculty of Technology and Science, but it will also suit other student groups.
 

How the course is built up:

The course consists of an introduction in two parts, followed by six parts.

Part 1: How to plan a search
Part 2: How to search smart
Part 3: Searching in the library catalogue ORIA
Part 4: Scientific articles
Part 5: Scopus
Part 6: Google Scholar and Web of Science


You can choose to go through the whole course, or to pick out specific parts of it.
