Mapping your Growth

Congratulations! You have made it to the final few weeks of your internship, and so it is time to be assessed yet again on your competency behaviors. That data will be plugged into this graph again and it will overlap your start data. This will show you, and others, the level of growth that you have had during your time with us here at Pole Star Experiential Learning. I can assure you, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Week Ten You will complete your competency training and complete your final analyses. This Behavioral Analysis is used for the measurement of habitual and current behaviors. Please remember that honesty is absolutely essential to your success. Though you receive grades on your analyses, these are not a traditional grade, as your scores are for behavior assessment only and there is no right or wrong percentage.  The scores you receive in this course will be evaluated with the materials and observations collected throughout your time with us and appropriate seals for each completed and accomplished competency behavior within your internship job will be awarded you by your development leader.

Below is an example of what a finished PEP© graph looks like. As you can see, the blue is the starting data that you were evaluated on in Week 2 and your Development Leader will input the data collected into your personal graph upon completion, as shown in the red. This data will reflect the scores you received from the final analysis completed by your Development Leader.  Regardless of your final awards, you have made huge strides in your professional skills and commitments making it to this point.
