Caribbean sociology has been created to prepare both CAPE and Freshman students in the field of sociology.  

The course is subdivided into two parts Unit 1 and Unit 2 

Our course will provide students with the necessary skills for an understanding of the structures, organisation

and development of societies, particularly those in the Caribbean.  Caribbean Sociology will introduce students to

the knowledge of the theories, social institutions and basic research methods of Sociology, the sociological

perspective, and the processes of social structural change with specific emphasis on the development and

modernization of societies.
