The Canine Training & Instruction course provides learners with the skills and knowledge to embark on a path toward becoming a professional pet dog trainer.
This course helps those who may not yet have the entry requirements to enroll directly on the CBTT course and will facilitate them in becoming excellent dog training assistants so that they may be guided in gaining essential understanding and mechanical skills in training dogs and education people.

This course consists of seven units:

  1. Biology for Animal Care
  2. Health & Safety in an Animal Care Setting
  3. Communication Skills within an Animal Care Setting
  4. Canine Health & Disease
  5. Animal Learning Theory & Applications
  6. Canine Nutrition
  7. Canine Training Class Assistance

The CTI course is delivered through part-time tuition and homestudy. All course resources are available via the course area here.
