The Instructor

The course is given by Andrew Cannon, GRBN’s Executive Director. Andrew was responsible for leading GRBN’s Trust & Personal Survey project, which investigated attitudes towards this issue across 24 countries worldwide, and is one of the world’s leading authorities on this issue.

 

The Content

The course will consist of two self-teaching lessons and a webinar.

Lesson 1: Trust & Personal Data: Does the market research industry have a problem in the UK?

The lesson will present the data from the GRBN Trust & Personal Data survey, as well as the conclusions drawn from the research. After reading the results, you will be tested on some of the key findings.

Live webinar: Why and how our industry needs to change?

The live webinar will build on learnings from the research and explore the implications of the research for market research companies, as well as individuals working in the industry. Participants in the live webinar should have completed Lesson 1 ahead of the webinar.

Lesson 2: Building Public Trust: A new paradigm for the market research industry

The second lesson will dive deeper into how the industry needs to change and will enable you to input your ideas into the upcoming GRBN Building Public Trust Initiative, as well as discuss with others taking the course.
