Overview

Welcome to Drawing and Rendering II: Charcoal

This course will continue to introduce fundamental drawing techniques such as perspective (linear and atmospheric) and well as specific techniques used in charcoal rendering. Each lesson contains a warm up sketch, a lesson, a drawing exercise, and steps toward completing a finished project.

You can find the eight lessons contained in this course under the TASKS tab. Start with Lesson One. After you have completed the work in that lesson, please take digital photos of all your work and upload it as an "answer" to the task. Once you have received your critique and grade for your work, you can proceed with the next lesson.

Before you begin any lessons, please go to the overview page to watch the Introduction video and see the supply list. You will complete many sketches, several drawing exercises, and two finished projects in this course.

Happy Drawing!

Your Instructor,
Karine Bauch
