I have been a private school educator since 2008 when I began teaching at Madison Christian. I have taught a wide variety of Social Studies courses during this time ranging from grades 7-12. I have a B.A. in Youth Ministry & Bible/Theology from Ohio Christian University and an M.A. in Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Description
American Government examines the principles and mechanics of our democracy. The course underscores the responsibilities of Christian citizenship within American society. Topics include: the U. S. Constitution, the branches of government, political parties, elections, pressure groups, foreign policy, and the Bill of Rights (with special attention given to civil liberties).
