American Government examines the principles and mechanics of our democracy. The course underscores the responsibilities of Christian citizenship within American society. Topics include: the U. S. Constitution, the branches of government, political parties, elections, pressure groups, foreign policy, and the Bill of Rights (with special attention given to civil liberties).
