Venturing is a youth development program. Venturing's purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.
Venturing is based on a dynamic relationship between youth, adult leaders, and organizations in their communities. This result is a program of exciting and meaningful activities that helps youth pursue their special interests, grow, develop leadership skills, and become good citizens.
The Venturing Foundation Course (VFC) serves as an introduction to Venturing. There are two components to VFC. One is this online classroom where you will learn the fundamental skills to help your venturing journey. The other is a residential camp where you will be able to practice these skills. Enjoy your time in Venturing and have lots of fun doing it.
